Good afternoon everybody, I am Ming-Je Sung. Today I am going to talk about my travel experience at San Diego Sea World. Have you every seen the killer whales that’s weigh thousands of pounds jump here and there in the huge pool? Do you know what the Dolphins touch like? In a hot summer weekend, I take a trip to Sea Word in San Diego, and see the astonishing things I have never seen before. Now let me share my wonderful experience with you. First, I will introduce some of the particular animals at Sea World. Second, I want to share the experience feeding and touching the dolphins. Finally, I want to talk about the treasure of the Sea World killer whales --- Shamu. And when I am finished I will be happy to here about your travel experience and answer questions about traveling to Sea World.


Now, I would like to introduce the particular animals at Sea World. First of all are hundreds of cute Penguins in the Sea World, some of them stood looking as if they were specimens; some of them were eating fish; some of them walked in a clumsy way. Second, there were Polar Bears, which are as huge as the tigers in the lands, and they are so powerful and so active even in the water, that they made me feel maybe the Polar Bear is the dominator of the Arctic. And there are playful Sea otters, friendly Seals, gentle Manatees, cute Belugas and graceful tropical paradise with flamingos. Of course there are groups of sharks, they swam in the pools the sharp teeth always made me afraid.


After the short introduction about the Sea World animals, I want to talk about my first experience feeding Dolphins. I bought four small frozen fish in a paper dish and grabbed one of the fish tightly in the dolphin pool. When dolphin smelled the fish, she swam in front of me, at this time; I could touch the dolphin gently. It was a brand new experience for me, She felt like I was touching the wet, hard, thick and moveable leather bag, after you touch her, put the fish in her month, and then, she will swim away. By the way, I have to worn you about the Sea Bird disturbance. The Sea Birds always try to rob the fish you take, so be careful with your fish and watch out for the talon of the Sea Birds, it may hurt your hand.

And then, let me talk about the treasure of the Sea-World, the killer whale Shamu. We made an appointment weeks before in order to eat lunch near killer whales. The caf&eacute; is located nears the killer whale pool. The killer whales were swimming in the pool here and there, sometimes they splashed water that wet our clothes and added the salt ingredients in out food. It was so funny. The trainer told us that the killer whale should have 4 years training to perform the show. Of course we saw the killer whales show (Shamu show). It combined the music, lights, trainer and killer whales. During the show, killer whales did all the actions under the trainer’s directions. Sometimes they jump out of the water, sometimes they sway their tail, sometimes they yell etc. It made me feel that it is not only the killer whales show, but also the great show, made by the audience, trainer and killer whales. It is so spectacular that so many people stay in the square even after the show is over.


I have briefly talked about the particular animals, distinctive shows and exceptional activities in the San Diego Sea World. Traveling to Sea World is a wonderful experience --- a string of exclamation marks. Do you feel like going through the particular experience?
