EA Sports預定2002年11月28日推出的跨PC、PS、PS2、Xbox、NGC等平台的最新籃球系列「NBA Live 2003」，遊戲除了收集美國NBA最新資料之外，還用逼真的動態捕捉系統讓畫面看起來宛如電視轉播一般。另外本作也追加超過數百種球員新動作，包含灌籃、運球，以及球員的各種習慣動作，讓玩家能在遊戲中享受不輸實際與NBA明星們比賽的真實感受。
